The most awe-inspiring place to be by popular consensus has to be West Lake,this grand lake that marks the end of China's Ancient Grand Canal boasts islands,temples,pavilions and well maintained gardens on it's expansive banks.
XiXi Wetland Park
This scenic National wetland park is located in the west part of Hangzhou and is densely crisscrossed with six main watercourses among which are scattered various,ponds,lakes and swans.
Lingyin Temple
This temple with a name commonly translated as
" Temple of Souls Retreat" is located north-west of Hangzhou and contains numerous pagodas and Buddhist grottoes. The temple has various sculptures one of the most famous being " Laughing Buddah" pictured below.
